Landhold capital obtained planning permission for a 4 acre site under a promotion agreement on the edge of Bursledon in Hampshire.
The site adjoined the urban area but was defined as countryside in the Local Plan. Despite this unfavourable policy we brought this site forward by way of an application. We submitted a planning application in 2015 and secured resolution to grant at Planning Committee for 45 dwellings. Once the S.106 was completed the land was placed on the open market jointly between ourselves and Ian Judd & Partners.
After some very competitive bidding and formal interviews we selected a preferred bidder and will exchange contracts in early 2018.
